Observation details
Very large buff-colored shorebird, larger than a Whimbrel. Very long decurved bill, white eye ring. Photos. Spotted a second time by Amanda T. as it flew in along the protected beach to the public beach. Spent 30 minutes at the edge of the fluddle, shying away from gulls getting too close. At 10:12 am, took off and went North to Loyola then turned back South and landed.
