Observation details
found about 2:15 both asleep, I am pretty sure they were there when I came thru earlier and I just overlooked them where they were. Slept pretty solid til about 5 or so, then became active with a lot of calling and displaying. They fed actively for a bit, preened and bathed before heading northwest at 6:30. Ruben and Victor Stoll got there in time to see it, as did a group from Christian Brothers who are doing a study on the Black-bellied Whistling Ducks.
