NOTES: TERRITORIAL DEFENSE. SONG AND CHIP NOTES. 1 MALE(S) BNA: Primary Song is heard as well as possibly the Tuck call. CZ 01/06/2004. [Twenty-seven examples of Primary Song, as described in BNA account. Two song-types are represented here, one in the first and last parts (0:05-1:36, 6:29-7:55) and a different one in the second part (1:39-2:45). There are also two "aborted" songs that represent the first few song elements (2:21, 6:29), many examples of the "tuck" call (especially 3:54-6:25, but almost throughout recording in background), and a few examples of the "tsip" call (e.g., 2:58-3:04, 3:06-3:08, 3:12-3:13, and 3:18-3:19, but with calls scattered less obviously and more intermittently elsewhere). This represents A. m. maritimus based on range. Quality unchanged (2 - but with constant aircraft/road noise) - CAM - 17 March 2005]. Other Behaviors: Advertise.
