Observation details
Was apparently accepted as the 7th record for Kenya based on my photos, which are included below. Broad rufous edging on black-centered wing coverts, as well as the black and white patch on the side of the neck, distinguishes it from all African species of Turtle-Dove, as well as the Oriental Turtle-Dove.
