Observation details
large selasphorus hummingbird with elongated posterior due to a long tail that extended well beyond wingtips. throat lightly mottled with flecks but otherwise pale. dull rufous sides, belly and undertail coverts. distinctive call - chew chew chew; green back. we have photos. there were possibly two, but we never saw the two at the same time; these birds were in Alice's Garden by Huff House.
