Observation details
This bird was originally seen by Gabriel Foley near the Habitat Conservation Area at the southeast corner of Wascana Marsh. The bird was relocated later in the day by Pine Island at Wascana Lake seen by a number of observers. Dan Sawatzky relocated the gull south southeast of the Candy Cane Outlet and notified Annie McLeod and myself of his relocation of this bird. Field marks noted: a large gull bigger than nearby California and Herring Gulls; pinkish coloured legs; the mantle looked very white; the bill was pink with black tip at the end. The bird was still present when I left at 5:08 PM.
