Observation details
Flock of 6 or more pipits/pihoihoi. Very approachable, came very close to my location. Foraging in the alpine tussock and rocks. The flock continued along the ridge line after 10minutes at my location. No other birds were spotted during this time (was hoping to have kea or potentially spot a rock wren)
