NOTES: ON HILLSIDE IN HEMLOCKS. 'TSICK-A-DAY-DAY' AND NOTES. Other recordist(s): BONDESEN P.; [These are the "Chick-a-Dee" calls of BNA, the first four examples close, the rest either off-axis or after the bird moved off. The first example combines an A-note with two D-notes, the second appears to combine an A-note with a D-note, the third two A-notes followed by two D-notes, and the marginal call after the brief voice announcement two A-notes followed by two D-notes. The soft notes at 0:535, 0:555, 0:56, and 0:57 appear to be the "Seep" calls of this species (see also M. A. McLaren. 1976. Auk 93: 451-463). The rest of the "Chick-a-Dee" calls are too far in the background to be of much use. Quality changed from 3-2 to 2, 3-2 - CAM - 12 January 2005]. Habitat: Evergreen Forest, Coniferous Forest.
