Observation details
Female. Dark brownish head, wide whitish “band” beneath head in neck region (not visible, except when individual extended neck; then v clearly seen), yellowish eye, and basically gray on sides. She stayed in same spot all the time I watched her. She did not mingle w/ other spp, but kept to herself, and swam back and forth repeatedly, constanly looking around.
