Observation details
**rare; adult male continuing in the Leverett Pond area, but it has been very inconsistent since the year has been so warm and ducks have not been concentrating. Stunningly beautiful duck: emerald-green speculum like pintail, peachy-rusty breast, short sprig tail, and thicker flank vermiculations more like pintail than Mallard. Usually on margins of the Mallard flock. Frustratingly, I left my SLR at home on my desk and could only digiscope or digibin.
