Observation details
male SEOW was perched at 5:25 until 5:53 when it began foraging. before it left the perch it called several times over a long interval to an as yet unseen other owl. at 6:05 the male successfully caught a decent sized rodent from the field and flew to the shrub line to eat it (unseen). at 6:12 an additional owl appeared across the road. The second bird seemed darker, but light was fading at that point. The first bird re-appeared around that time as well. The two owls interacted briefly, but mainly stayed on opposite sides of the road foraging.
