Observation details
Photos showed several pulling small clam-like things from the mud where they were probing their bills all the way to their faces. One long continuing bird with bands and a geolocator that was last seen here on 1 December 2018. This is the third winter this bird has been at Gustavus. Green geolocator/metal-Right; very light blue/red-Left. Banded on the YK Delta at Kanagayak 1 June 2016 (Information from Kristine Sowl FWS).
