Observation details
Continuing, but now it is two birds instead of one. Two females--black wings with white bars, orangish wash that is most prominent on the head and tail, thin, pointed bills. I thought that I saw two orioles rather than just one yesterday, but wasn't sure, so I decided to try and confirm that it was two. The first oriole caught my attention when I heard it calling. It then sat on a branch, preening itself, for about ten minutes before a second oriole flew into the tree, chasing away the first one.
