Observation details
Surprising find! Tyrannid with very light gray head, gray mantle, dark eyeline, white throat, and lemony-yellow chest. Wide and white outer tail edging easily seen through binoculars when sun was out and shallow notched tail, ruling out a Tropical Kingbird (which would be rarer here). Flying between trees, lights and powerline, and to ground and back. It was perched on top of a large string of leftover Christmas lights in the middle of a grassy commons area or meadow (seemed to be were people let there dogs run around), close to a powerline transmission line. Meadow adjacent to a lake.
