Observation details
The clear highlight of the morning. Early on seen flying low right over the bluffs by Garfield. The swifts had not yet arrived, so the bright white underparts and white rump patches, distinguished this bird from the Tree and Cliff Swallows it was with. Did see the metallic green back a couple of times before I lost it. After some effort refound it later in the morning at the far north end of the bluffs near the electric substation amid a big flock of White-throated Swifts plus a few Cliff Swallows.
