Observation details
I first saw this bird with Peter Colasante in early January. I've seen it several times since in the fence line area behind the bathroom. It is pale grayish above, whitish under, and has an eye-ring. What can't be seen from the photo, but was clearly seen, was that it has yellow undertail coverts and undertail. Peter identified this as a young female Yellow Warbler. There is another unusual warbler also seen in the area that is much more yellow overall. It has been photographed (Jan 1 by Gordon Bebee) (Peter Jan 23) and identified as a Yellow Warbler. I have seen that bird several times in January and yesterday in the same area and along the school fence.
