Classic RT Loon Profile. Bullet shaped head with upturned bill.
Observation details
Much white in neck and face area. Noticeably smaller birds that nearby Common Loons. Neck thinner bill smaller and upturned. Head more of a bullet shape than Common Loon. The pair were together and after about 10 minutes flew off together circling the dam area and then heading North over middle of lake at a low altitude. Both flight and on water photos obtained. Quality because of distance we will see this evening. The pair returned and I was able to establish one of them clearly had white around the eye area. I had one adult and one juvenile.
