Observation details

*Very rare; spotted by Dad, foraging on Alachua Lake. I looked at it and identified it as a phalarope, and Rex Rowan nailed down the fact that it was a Red-necked. Beautiful adult in breeding plumage. Watched for some time, dark head with obvious white throat patch, short bill. Distant documentation photographs taken.
