NOTES: Much of this recording recorded simultaneously by Greg Budney (see LNS 139403). The first segment of this recording is of vocalizations given as the two birds of the pair were soaring over the temple. In my voice announcement, I note that I believe that I recorded the female, but I am not 100% confident of this. The second segment (beginning at 1:40 of the recording) contains eight short call notes (and one wing-rustle) from the male while he was perched on scaffolding on the temple. The third segment (beginning at 10:15 of the recording) contains two "long calls" (sex unknown), a number of short call notes from the male, and towards the end of the segment (at 14:30 of the entire recording), vocalizations given in flight as the male passed a prey item to the female. The fourth segment (beginning at 15:22 of the recording) is a voice announcement describing the previous three segments. The fifth segment (beginning at 18:00 of the recording) begins with a truncated call of the male in flight, followed by one "long call" of the male perched on scaffolding on the tower; the bird's flight is also audible between the two calls. The sixth segment (beginning at 18:37 of the recording) contains a total of six short call notes by the male, given in two groups of three.
