Comments by Dave Brown: I think this looks excellent for glaucoides. It would be good to have other Gulls for mantle comparison, but one thing I’ve noted on subadult glaucoides are those frosty median coverts. Also the Glaucous Gull-like creamy iris is perfect for glaucoides and May not even occur in Kumliens and if it does it is extremely rare. Also, the structure looks perfect. I am reserved when it comes to calling glaucoides, but this bird looks good to me.
