NOTES: Alarm calls given after I flushed a bird off a nest with four eggs. Immediately after flushing, it flew a short distance and began walking/skulking through the tundra grasses (audible in this cut) giving these distraction vocalizations. Recorded on tundra south of Teller on the Seward Peninsula. Sound Devices 744T with 240Hz HPF, Telinga Pro6 in flat. Habitat: Tundra, Arctic Tundra.
