Observation details
Continuing bird - We observed a large thrush with a rufous back, rufous breast and rufous sides. gray head, gray rump and gray tail, white throat with black streaks, white belly and white undertail coverts and yellow bill with a black tip. Bird was first observed in the top of a tree at 9:59 am from the gravel bar about 50 yards downstream from the CR 202 bridge over the Nueces River. The bird was observed again at 10:32 am on a fallen tree trunk just uphill from the gravel bar about 30 yards farther down the river, near a large live oak curved like a "c" on the east bank of the gravel bar.
