Observation details
Continuing rarity. There was some controversy about this bird, but I think these photos are conclusive. Note P9 almost as long as P10 leading to rounded wing appearance, primary bar close to wing tip and covering only 4 primaries, buffy spots on underwing including outer primaries, buffy belly. long tail, etc. As in the previous sighting by John Groskopf 5 days ago, the bird appeared on the east side of the mound at 6:07. It quickly flew away to the north.
