Observation details
In canopy at the northeast corner of the CenCal Health parking lot. Small, plain, olive above, yellowish below, eye ring. Want to look at (poor) photos later. The yellow below, which I noted when I looked at the bird through binoculars before taking photos, is interesting. Possibilities I’ve looked at include Orange-crowned, Nashville, MacGillivray’s, and Virginia’s, but the last two are casual in winter with very few records. I suspect I’m going to have to leave this one unidentified, given how bad the photos are.
