Singing adult along Pine Creek just below railroad tracks, where water is backed up by beaver dam (gravel road crosses creek). First heard chip note, found bird, eventually it sang for about 60 seconds, non-stop. Called several times after but never sang again. All dark charcoal-gray above and on chin/throat/breast except for paler gray edging on upperwing coverts; white belly, vent, and undertail coverts, with white projecting upward slightly in center of upper belly/lower breast. Black bill and eye. Wagged tail. Central rectrices old/retained, outer rectrices growing in.
