Observation details
A warbler with a bright yellow, throat, breast, belly, and flanks, with dark streaks on the breast and a dark mark under the eyes and a dark eyeline that went from the lores to behind the eyes. The bird had an orange-brown patch on its upper back. The bird pumped its tail repeatedly as it moved through the low trees beneath the canopy. The bird had a crown that was a darker yellow-brown than the breast. The birds wings and tail were a darker yellow than its underparts and the wings had no wingbars. The bird was singing repeatedly - an ascending buzzy trill. Seen well in good light using 8X binoculars from within 5 m. Photos attached.
