NOTES: First cuts recorded with MS pair dangling over edge of bridge about 25cm from 10-20 nests. Vocalizations of birds as they dived towards the microphones. With the mics in this position, none of the adults made any successful food deliveries. They were too concerned with the placement of the microphones. Next, we moved the mics onto a tripod and set it back on the bridge to use the bridge road surface as a blind for the babbling water and to make the mics less obtrusive to the swallows. The second placement starts with MJA_104. Number of individuals=AU40-50;. Habitat: Coniferous Forest, Deciduous Forest, Creek, Second-growth, Scrub.
