Observation details
Reported earlier at Curtain Wetlands, Joe Verica sent out a text alert saying all the gulls had flown toward BESP. We knew the gulls like to sit on the tip of the island chain in the center of the lake viewed from the lake shore at Lower Greens, so we checked there first. Quickly found the Franklin's sitting with the RBGU where we expected it to be. All the gulls took off and flew toward the causeway when other birders arrived at the scene. Terrible photo attached:
