NOTES: lowland chaco habitat. First distant cut was under natural conditions from 100-200+m. Long cut after playback, at least two pairs started to duet in this valley. Birds unseen and quite distant, even after I walked up on them. Estimated 50-100m or more. Vocalizations very loud and echoed through this broad valley. Response to playback: Normal song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Forest, Deciduous Forest, Thicket/Brush, Scrub.
