The recording was hampered by the continual roar of the 417 which was about 200 meters south. You can hear nonetheless 2 distinct kinds of calls. A buzzing at a pitch of about 3000Hz, which has a distinct 70Hz rhythm. Then there is the higher pitched whistle or squeal. The first few buzzes are at 6.8-7.6, 11.5-12.5, 13.1-14.3, 19.5-21.5, and 23.4-25.5 seconds. The last of these is about 1 minute and 54 seconds. The whistles start at 10.6-11.2 seconds and end at 2 minutes 4 seconds.
Observation details
about 10 birds were in the river 10-15 meters away from me. The males were displaying and vocalizing
