NOTES: NOTE: This taxon should be named Knipolegus signatus cabanisi or simply K. signatus. Taxonomic issues abound, but current SACC (13 July 2006) treat this group as conspecific, K. signatus. This is a rather poor cut of a male chasing a female through the understory alongside a clearing in the forest. I am not certain whether the male or female was vocalizing. Habitat: Forest, Evergreen Forest, Deciduous Forest, Meadow, Thicket/Brush, Second-growth.
