NOTES: A pair of macaws that were both perched and in flight during the course of this recording; these birds were frequenting a coconut plantation along the road just beyond the forest; the birds were initially perched about 30 meters away but they then flew to another tree about 60 meters away and then they flew off; the birds tended to perch relatively high up on the fronds in the roughly 15-18 meter-tall coconut palms; most of the recorded calls were by perched birds but they did fly twice during the course of this recording; partly cloudy, calm, 85¡ F. Other Behaviors: Mate, Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Orchard, Scrub.
