NOTES: A variety of calls by a pair of birds foraging around the small clearing along the stream a short distance before the sharp bend in the road at the bottom of the hill; they regularly perched up on stalks about 30 cm up, but they regularly dropped to the ground, and at the end of the recording they flew down to the edge of the clearing and then down along stream where they foraged quietly; these birds typically called only when they flew, making them difficult to record; in this cut they ranged from 4 to 25 meters from me; they regularly sat up and dipped their tails; almost fully overcast, trace breeze, probably in the mid- to upper 80s (though the thermometer read 89-90¡ F). Other Behaviors: Mate. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Creek.
