NOTES: A pair of birds duetting and calling as they moved about almost constantly from 5-15 meters away and 6-8 meters up (but as low as 4 meters up) in the scrubby forest at the edge of the small clearing along the road (at the base of the hill and a short distance before the sharp bend in the road); I regularly heard these birds singing from this spot and I did see them relatively well on this particular day; initially natural, later after playback, in response to which the birds approached and sang more; there was a flock nearby but these birds seemed to be pretty much on their own; partly cloudy, slight breeze, 75¡ F. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Normal song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Edge.
