NOTES: Songs by an unseen bird that was about 30 meters away and 25 meters up in a large roadside tree in tall terra firme forest 400 meters beyond the second stream crossing along the right fork of the second spur (ramal) road in the INCRA project; I missed only two songs before getting onto the bird and only one after the recording ended; the bird appeared to be moving constantly when recorded; in response to playback, the bird twice flew relatively low across the road but it always continued well into the forest and it sang on occasion; I saw it only in flight, but what I did see was consistent with this species; there may have been two birds present because I thought I saw more than one bird flying overhead; this is the same pair of birds highlighted in cuts #2000-41-05, 2000-45-04, 2000-48-06, and 2000-49-05; low overcast with fog in the treetops but seemingly blue sky overhead, calm, 79¡ F; I changed the battery for the microphone power supply after this recording. Number of individuals=AU1-2; Response to playback: Approach. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
