Observation details

First seen 1145, when it flushed from dense grasses including Bromus inermis to shrubs near a bend in the stream just E of the raised hill. Got a few-second good look through binoculars as it flitted from perch to perch in Alnus incana. Small, pointy-billed sparrow, very similar to LISP in shape and with similar broad gray eyebrow, but with a few very blurry flank streaks and lacking fine breast streaks. Lost sight of it in nearby Cornus sericea/Salix thicket. Watched the area for 10 minutes and slowly approached, but it did not reappear. Definitely not WTSP due to shape and size (smaller than SOSP).
