NOTES: A pair of birds seen foraging, initially 12-15 meters away and 2-4 meters up, and eventually 10 meters away and 6-8 meters up, at edge of what appeared to be a strip of scrubby terra firme forest along the right fork of the second spur (ramal) road in the INCRA project; we eventually saw both birds well; the first two cuts with calls are natural, the third and fourth with songs and calls was after playback, in response to which the birds came right in and sang, the male flaring a large, white interscapular-patch; weather same, high thin clouds but quite hazy with a fog at ground level, calm, 76¡ F. Other Behaviors: Mate, Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Scrub, Edge.
