NOTES: The first part of this recording highlighted a single monkey seen only as it ran off, that was 50 meters away and 15-20 meters up in a tall tree in terra firme forest where the canopy was somewhat broken along the main road about 100 meters short of its intersection with the spur road; the later parts highlighted a group of six to ten animals that were clearly seen and certainly this species, but not calling much; they were moving 20-25 meters away and 10-25 meters up in trees on both sides of the road; the animals in the last three parts of the recording were seen clearly, the first 25-30 meters away and 22-24 meters up on an exposed branch on the south side of the road, then another about 20 meters away and 20 meters up on the north side of the road, and finally, an animal that was initially looking at me intently as it stood 20 meters away and 15-18 meters away on an unobstructed view on a relatively large limb, but later moving back to a point 30 meters away and 25 meters up; it was unclear if these were Òsongs,Ó alarm calls elicited by my presence, or instead calls by animals were interacting with each other, either as two groups coming into contact, or the members of a single group trying to cross the road with me in the middle; weather conditions same - partly cloudy, calm, 85-88¡ F. Number of individuals=UU6-10;. Other Behaviors: Scold, Emit Alarm, Social Context: Troop. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
