NOTES: Two birds were singing, with this recording highlighting a male that was well seen when recorded 5-8 meters away from me; though below my level on the tower, the bird was still about 35 meters up in the very top of a live but mostly leafless deciduous tree that was just beginning to leaf out in the canopy of good terra firme forest; the closer bird was the male, which came right in and began singing in response to my whistled imitation, but a female was also seen nearby and seemed to be calling more than the male; there was a mixed-species flock in the area; partly cloudy, quite breezy from the north, mid-80s. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Normal song. Other Behaviors: Advertise, Social Context: Mixed. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
