NOTES: Calls by a male that I saw well 6-12 meters away and 1- 8 meters up in scrubby undergrowth at the edge of a tree-fall gap in good terra firme forest just short of the tower along the trail from the road to the tower; the bird often perched horizontally on vertical stems and it was more vocal before I walked up but often sat looking at me; these was natural calls but the bird seemed agitated, possibly indicating that I was near a nest; sun now in treetops; thin clouds overhead, calm, 77-78 F. Other Behaviors: Scold. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
