Observation details
Many hours spent looking for this species for Lord Stirling and as I am walking in with my hands full of coffee and gear an immature Golden Eagle appeared from over Timberdoodle Meadow. Low flying with a dihedral, but did not appear to be a vulture. The bird passed right over the parking lot with large white patches near the primaries and a really distinct subterminal white tail band. The bird circled the park for probably 2 minutes and then headed to the SW. I took some iPhone photos and videos, which can support the ID but are poor documentation at best.
