NOTES: A pair, the female of which was seen relatively well, 12-20 m up overhead at edge of a small, mostly dry, mud bath/salt lick located in a depression about 50 m in from bank of river a short distance above upper end of Trilha de Dr. Haffer; the birds approached and the female descended slightly in response to playback of the male song; conditions same [86-87¡ F, calm, and basically clear but hazy] [= RCR221, RCR226 (in part, announcement); GPS coordinates for saleiro in RCR227]. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Normal song. Other Behaviors: Mate, Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Riparian, Edge.
