NOTES: Calls by a pair of Euphonia that appeared to represent this species (male had blackish hood and throat, extensive yellow forehead, possibly some orange wash on breast and some white in tail, and yellow on breast, belly, sides, flanks, and apparently, undertail coverts; female was also present, but I looked closely only at male, and even it only briefly before I began recording); these birds were about 20 m away and 18 m up in deciduous trees on top of Serra near where I had been recording the Sittasomus (cut #RCR05-07) [= RCR011-012]. Other Behaviors: Mate. Habitat: Forest, Deciduous Forest, Scrub, Rocky.
