Media notes

NOTES: This includes the same individual recorded in file #CAR05-55, but now two birds were seen together moving about in the same area I had suspected for previous recording, about 18-20 m away and 15-18 m up on a horizontal branch in the canopy of a medium-sized tree just below the canopy of a Cecropia growing at the edge of terra firme forest right along the road at the sharp bend at the bottom of the hill [= CAR098-099, the latter with GPS coordinates for bend in the road]. ML: Background subject changed from Pyrrhura picta to P. amazonum to reflect current taxonomy. -Jay McGowan 29Apr2015. Other Behaviors: Mate, Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Edge.
