Observation details
In flight pics coming. Large sparrow/finch shaped bird that flew back and fourth directly in front of me over the marsh several times, about 30 feet up. First recognized by high pitched but very clean and sweet sounding “ tik, teew ”. Followed by the diagnostic longspur metallic rattle call, repeated many times. Attempted recording but did not succeed. Pics show the face pattern well enough to discern sp. rufous on wings visible as well.
