NOTES: Locality: Rio Hiqueron, between Cerro Eskameca and Los Lamos. at Extacion Experimental. 11km south of Canas; Physical Description of Sound; How distinguished: roar or hawl (A1) + male berks (C1); Apparent Biological Purpose of Sound: probably serves to maintain inter group spacing; What Behavior Accompanied Violation: movement in sleeping tree; This group had ben howling for approximately 20 minute before recording was begun. A1+C1 can be heard. the tape was started and Stopped several times during this "cut"; Habitat: Forest, Riparian.
