Observation details
Found by Johnny Bovee on August 31. Adult with entirely white plumage, save for black tips to outer four primaries. Legs and feet bright pinkish-orange; bill relatively long and decurved, also bright pinkish-orange along with extensive facial skin on forehead and surrounding eye; iris pale bluish-white. Similar overall in size and shape to White-faced Ibis (direct comparison), but in flight showed slightly broader wings and only the feet projecting beyond the tail (portion of the legs and feet project beyond tail in WFIB), and also tended to sweep its bill from side to side when feeding unlike WFIB. The bird remained with the WFIB flock the entire time.
