Observation details
Alerted to its presence at 1221 in a chokecherry thicket just N of the stream, about 100 m E of the rocky draw, by a couple of rough calls that reminded me of HOWR. After several minutes, it approached to within 3 m of me, where I got photographs and an audio recording. Still herd it from the same thicket, out of sight, at 1228.
