Observation details
Saw a pair of dippers feeding their just fledged (that day!) chick. (Two other chick hadn't fledged yet.) They were also bringing materials to add on to their nest on the fish hatchery building (Bear Creek Weir). The chick was a downy gray and just sitting on the walk above the water by the hatchery building. Got to go in and look at the nest which reminded us of a barn swallow nest.
