Grey tone to hind neck indicates possible male
Observation details
Kurdish Wheatear rare here but this bird shows good characteristics for separation from female of that species : strong bill, well defined dark eye-strip and lores as well as clearly defined white supercilium. Note there was not even a hint of white on tail base.
